                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF THE
                   BITUMINOUS PAVEMENT RESURFACING PROJECT, NO.
                   P-2-93, TO C. W. MATTHEWS CONTRACTING
                   COMPANY, INC. FOR THEIR LOW BID IN THE
                   AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY-THREE THOUSAND,
                   TWO HUNDRED NINETY-THREE AND 40/100 DOLLARS
                   ($183,293.40).
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       award of the Bituminous Pavement Resurfacing Project, No. P-2-93, 

       to C. W. Matthews Contracting Company, Inc. for their low bid in
       the amount of $183,293.40.
